Resumen
Based on the need of implementing interim measures for krill management before an adequate global strategy is established, this document analyses different approaches to conservation as presented by Australia and concludes that feedback management can provide an adequate basis for conservation in the interim period. Specific measures are proposed, consisting in the control of catches by means of the difference between availabilities and a minimum value. Variation of the minima will provide several equilibrium points depicting the relationship between population increase and population size, this permitting the obtention of information contributing to the construction of predictive models.
