    Résumé

    The aim of this paper is to summarise the items addressed during the resumed Fifth Session of the United Nations Environment Assembly of the of the United Nations Environment Programme (Nairobi, Kenya, 28 February – 2 March 2022). In an attempt to end plastic pollution, by means of Resolution 5/14 adopted by consensus, it was resolved to convene an Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment.
