The Oceanographic Institute, Foundation Albert I, Prince of Monaco – Statement of intent and commitment

The Oceanographic Institute of Monaco, a member organization of the Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition (ASOC), announces the scaling up of their involvement in Antarctic and Southern Ocean public awareness and conservation efforts through a tailored programme over the next 2.5 years, in the lead up to the 3^rd United Nations Ocean Conference scheduled to take place in Nice, France near Monaco. This will include events within the Institute’s facilities in Monaco and Paris, in support of the designation of Marine Protected Areas in the Southern Ocean.
